Who it's for

Marine Operator Course

Knowing how to use a radio for marine communication is a strongly recommended safety skill. ISSA issues you a club certificate of competence, the Marine Operator Course.

The session runs at our base in Costa Adeje and takes five hours, start to finish. No experience is needed, and the training materials are on us.

Training like this is required in many countries, by charter companies and for the ISSA sea skipper courses. It is not the official Spanish state radio operator certificate.

Most of our students take it alongside a skipper course. It works just as well on its own.
